DESCRIPTION:with John D’Aquino \n\n\n\n\n\nFrom the audition to performing on set\, this class is designed to prepare actors for a professional career. Weekly lesson plans range from character prep\, script analysis\, adjusting performance to specific genres with an intense focus on both popular comedies and dramas. This course will dive deep into the science of auditioning – from the entrance to the slate\, ensuring you are prepared to deliver dynamic and memorable performances. When not performing\, students help operate the cameras to better understand how the camera sees the world. By doing so\, students learn to better shape performances for the camera\, from the master\, to the over-the-shoulder to the close-up. This class includes warm-up games and celebrates all aspects of acting for the camera.
