During the week before\, John D’Aquino will work with students to go over their scene in a 15-minute one-on-one coaching.That following Monday\, students will perform their scenes for John Beck and Suzanne Goddard-Smythe who will then offer notes and a redirect. All actors will perform their scene twice for our guests. If there is any time remaining\, our guests will participate in a Q&A.Please Note: This is an educational experience. This course will dive deep into the science of auditioning – from the entrance to the slate\, ensuring you are prepared to deliver dynamic and memorable performances. When not performing\, students help operate the cameras to better understand how the camera sees the world. By doing so\, students learn to better shape performances for the camera\, from the master\, to the over-the-shoulder to the close-up. This class includes warm-up games and celebrates all aspects of acting for the camera.
