DESCRIPTION:Join us in late June and early July 2026 for our signature event! Sessions are partially online via Zoom and in-person in LADATES June 19th\, 20th\, 22nd Virtual Classes/RehearsalsJune 26th-July 4th: In-Person CampNOTE: Additional rehearsals and table read will be scheduled prior to camp classes & filming REGISTER HERECamp Hollywood is our students’ most important learning opportunity of the year\, designed to provide a realistic\, professional filming experience which gets them ready for life on a real set when they book their first or next job! Camp Hollywood incorporates specialty classes\, table reads\, one-on-one coaching\, rehearsals\, and\, most importantly\, experience filming on a full\, professionally staffed set\, where they can learn how to interact with the director and different departments to maximize their on camera performance. They also learn set etiquette\, allowing them to maintain professionalism\, engender trust from directors and producers and set themselves up for future jobs and repeat bookings. In fact\, several successful young actors have had Camp Hollywood as their first on-set experience\, preparingthem for future film and TV roles you’ve probably seen yourself!SCHEDULE PART 1 – (Pre-Production Classes & Rehearsals)Part One will be online via zoom\, and consist of acting classes led by John and the rest of our staff. Students will also have rehearsal periods with their directors as well as meetings to discuss wardrobe\, make-up and possible special effects. DESCRIPTION: DATES July 29th – August 2ndTIME 9 AM-5 PM**AGES 10+LOCATION Burbank**Times during filming days will be TBAREGISTER\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs an actor in the film and television industry\, so often we wait\, get an audition\, submit the audition\, see if we hear back\, don’t hear anything at all\, and wait for the next audition to come in with the hopes of it becoming a booking. But what if instead of waiting during that time\, you were creating? In Camp Write\, Shoot\, Act!!!\, Campers will act in and film an original scene of their own creation! During the first two days\, campers will take a variety of film-centric classes and break up into teams of 2-3 to write their scene. The last two days of Camp will be dedicated to rehearsals and filming their personal scene with our professional crew at a local studio and directed by one of our staff. When students are not acting\, they will be assisting in other departments ranging from Art\, Sound\, Script Supervising\, and more. Our staff will then edit everyone’s scenes which will premiere in the late Fall.
