| Have an idea for a short film, but have no idea how to begin? NOW’S YOUR CHANCE!After helming 20+ short films and directing/producing 8 Camp Hollywood films, teacher and filmmaker Shane Brady made his first feature film Breathing Happy in 2021. After winning several awards and selling the film, a rare achievement for a first time filmmaker, he went on to film his second feature HACKED, which is currently in Post-Production. Now he’s in pre-production for his third, set to film at the start of 2025. Join Shane as he leads students on learning how to write and plan to shoot your very own short film.   TOPICS INCLUDE: Getting your scramble brain idea down on paper where it makes sense Story and Screenplay Structure Planning and Making a Shooting Schedule Creating a Call Sheet Storyboards Using References to articulate your ideas And more!! The final class will culminate in a table read of all of the projects with both Shane and a Hollywood industry guest giving feedback. After this course, you’ll have everything prepared… all you’ll need to do is film and edit it!  A graduate of FSU’s theatre program, Shane Brady has performed theatre and improv in Chicago, London, and in television and film in Los Angeles. Most recently, he enjoyed a recurring role on HBO’s BALLERS, and played The Magician in Warner Bros feature film DOCTOR SLEEP. As a filmmaker, Shane wrote, directed, edited and starred in Breathing Happy — which went on to win Audience Award for Best Feature Film at Chattanooga Film Festival and SOHO Horror Film Festival in London; Best Feature Film at STXIFF; Best New Filmmaker at Popcorn Frights in Miami, Fl; and most notably, the Best Actor Award at the heralded Filmquest Film Festival. His second feature film HACKED: A Double Entendre of Rage Fueled Karma, which he also wrote, directed, starred in, and edited, is slated for release in 2025.PRICE: $350 REGISTER |
