| Taught by Japheth Gordon, this all-encompassing acting class is designed for students ages 14+ who are serious about developing and maintaining professional-level skills for their on-camera performance. Each two-hour session blends high-level Improvisation, Scene Study, and On-Camera Technique to build confident, adaptable actors who can make strong choices in an evolving industry. To kick things off, we will be hosting two FREE classes on February 21st and 28th. The first cycle for this workshop will begin on Saturday, March 7th. Location: Classes will be held at The Actor’s Group Studio in Burbank, CA. Japheth Gordon (Modern Family, Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI Miami, Dexter) is a writer, actor, and educator with over a decade of experience teaching performers and creators at every level, from first-time students to working professionals. He has developed his own curriculum and has taught professional-level classes in improv, on-camera performance, audition technique, scene study, character creation, and industry pitching all over the country.As a writer, he developed original projects at HBO Max and spent the last four years at Disney, contributing to major studio films including Moana 2 and Zootopia 2. His real-world experience allows him to guide students with practical, honest insight into how Hollywood actually works.
