Carol Goldwasser was a close friend of our school and helped launch the careers of many stars. Beyond professional accolades, she was a good human. She generously gave of herself to all the actors whose careers she nurtured. Most of all, she was damn funny and had an unmistakable, mischievous laugh. I would often hear her cackling after she zinged me with one of her trademark comments. To be “zinged” by Carol meant that she liked you. I was honored. Kind of like Don Rickles. I was also honored to be her friend. On behalf of all our students that she helped over time, we love you Carol, we thank you for the joy you brought and we will miss you.
